He has destroyed the Russian economy .Turned Russia in to a shunned pariah nation.

The damage to Russia economically, will highly likely end up with the collapse not only the Russian economy ,but global economy and US Dollar as reserve currency in due course.

Surely one has to wonder about the reasoning, why did Putin insanely invade his neighbour, and cause so much death and destruction.

I don't see what is wrong in thinking outside the Box. After all the other lies behind recent wars.

Protein's line of thinking is completely reasonable. I'd guess that Putin might resort to chemical weapons first but deployment of tactical nukes is very likely not out of the question in Putin's mind.
