It’s not a waste of time at all. If you’re so impatient that you think sanctions would have stopped all this by now or even by early next year, then you’re going to get very frustrated.

The sanctions are a long term plan. They’re to ensure Russia can’t afford to run a long term war, can help to stop them winning in Ukraine, or stop further invasions after Ukraine, and to make them a pariah state.

Carrying on with his invasion, while actually pulling out of the capital city and the entire North of the country because their invasion there has been counter-attacked and thwarted.

The good thing is, the vast majority of us are the rational moderates; the bad thing is the rational moderates are the quietest people in society and it’s the extremes who always shout the loudest. Therefore, the moderates closest to the edge of not being moderate anymore get dragged over to the extremes by those shouting the the loudest.

It's a very strangle qwerk they have, calling people sheep for following mainstream science, history and news channels but are happy to follow unqualified twunts on twitter and Facebook like fucking lemmings.

Spot on. We are also not going to see Russian sports people on the world stage for some considerable time, that will really piss them off.

They love winning at sports because it is a way of saying look how brilliant we are!
