Russian invasion of Ukraine

if they are obsolete from our armed forces why is the head of our armed forces so giving them will weaken us if we need to go to battle?
They aren’t obsolete, just that we are going through the procurement programme for the new tank.

Still very much in use.

Germany won’t send tanks until America do, don’t they know how bad it could be if Russia take hold of Ukraine ? I’ve no patience with Germany
Hope we can still send ours and we don’t need German approval
The US sending Patriot missiles Germany have not made a decision on Leopard tanks.

Germany do seem to be changing the goal posts on this. From saying they wont go alone to saying they wont go unless the US do.

There is a suggestion doing the rounds that the US may send a batallion of Abrahams to Ukraine but not to the front line. maybe for defending somewhere. only reason for no front line action would be they are very very hard to maintain a supply line for due to being powered by a jet engine and needing jet fuel to run.

it should be enough to break the deadlock.

Poland want to send leopard tanks but need German approval, Germany sending air defence systems, the US still talk about negotiated settlement
I’m tired of the disharmony in Europe people are dying Poland will help because they would be next in line for invasion but still only the UK sending tanks

My suspicion is that it's a drone of some sort, and these circles were where it gained height before following it's route.

The US drone "forte" does this after take off from Sicilly, before heading for the Black Sea. I did a bit of digging about the squawk code, and it's used on/in the US generally.

It's interesting that it's using a transponder, I'm assuming this is so that any air defence units can identify it, and not shoot it down. It looks like it launched from that road around 1230 GMT.

It'll be interesting to see how long it's flying, as the "forte" one from Sicilly is often airborne for nearly 24 hours.

A short but very sobering video. Click on the link below. Scroll down to see the video.

Ukrainian troops coming back from the Bhakmut frontline.

The Russian prisoner soldiers attack in-front of regular Russian soldiers in waves, are mowed down, and are nothing but fodder.
