Schemes: Area of mass burials in Mariupol nearly doubles in 2 months. Schemes, a journalist investigation project by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, analyzed Planet Labs satellite data and reported that more than 15,000 people could be buried in a mass graveyard in Mariupol.

I sadly agree - that ship called Dignity left Russia a long time ago.

They have been accused of cremating their own,in mobile crematoriums.

There's a vid of russian planes trying to bomb the left behind gear. 4 bombs dropped, 3 missed the island totally.

Over 30 years ago, so things will have changed but, I knew a squaddie in the artillery.
He told a story about a competition in Germany between the UK (his lot) the Germans and the yanks.
Someone stuck a wooden hut on the top of the hill, fewest rounds used to destroy it won.
His lot worked out the angles etc, fired, missed corrected and on the 4th shot, blew it up. The Germans did the same but with more precision, 3 shots and the shed was firewood. The yanks turned up, the guy in charge had a cowboy hat on and six shooter's in holsters. They lobbed one towards the target, it missed, the cowboy simply said 'more to the left' or up a bit after every miss. After the allowed 10 shots, none of which were anywhere near the target they fucked off sheepishly leaving a very intact shed on a hill.

I was on holiday in Hunstanton @ 1990 and while on the beach with the wife and kids,we could hear some strange noises coming from the sea, it was a very hazy day and visibility was just a few hundred yards.
The noise was like a very loud tearing noise,as though some giant was ripping apart huge pieces of calico.
It turns out that there is/was a USAF training area out in The Wash where the A10s were practicing shooting at targets in the sea.
That Avenger 30mm rotating cannon is one awesome piece of kit, it must be hell on earth being on the receiving end of a 10 second burst from it.

We were on the Norfolk Broads in 1981, and were"buzzed" constantly by the Warthogs, and found out they were based at Bentwater. You can't mistake the noise - a whistling sound, and very agile. Fortunately, they kept their cannons locked!
