What would be a good outcome for Russia from this test?

1) Nato stops supporting Ukraine for fear of more attacks from Russia.
2) Nato continues as is, and Russia continues to have its arse kicked.
3) Nato supports Ukraine even more, and Russia gets its arse kicked even harder and faster.

(1) isn't going to happen so there's no possible good outcome for Russia. They're not that stupid.

Would be interesting to know if there is nato -> Ukraine border crossing near there. Not a lot of major roads near there by the look of it so probably not.
