He was and still is. I'd say that it's the right approach as well. Shooting first and asking questions later isn't the way to do things. That goes for people I agree and disagree with.

Nobody has shot first and asked questions later. I doubt Corbyn, with his track record of urging the west to stop arming Ukraine, would have sent anything other than tea and sympathy to Ukraine. The world, not just the UK, dodged a bullet with that one.
