Iraq/Afghanistan (I presume the OP meant in the context of ‘western’ forces) wasnt genocide - the nations populations and identity weren’t being targeted and destroyed.
Edit: the Taliban on the other hand could be accused of part genocide in destroying afghan heritage- eg the Buddha statues. Similarly ISIS in Iraq (and elsewhere) destroying anything non Sunni.

Russias actions in Ukraine is clearly genocide - invading wanting to assimilate a sovereign nation, actively targeting its civilians with war, destroying Ukrainian symbols, denying Ukrainian history, deporting occupied civilians, importing occupying civilians, xenophobic rhetoric about Ukraine not being a country, participating in and then denying mass war crimes against civilians.

genocide :the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group

many ukrainian civilians have died , and when its over and the mass graves are found who knows the total , russia wants to destroy ukraine
