You think the Ukrainians will?In the end I can see Putin and his generals slowly exhausting Ukraines army. They will continue to mobilise men, using them as canon fodder, along side the Wagner Group, Chechen fighters, etc. He will keep on pouring enlisted men into the fight until they start making strategic gains in parts of the East and in other parts of the country. Putin won’t give in.
The reaction to the mobilisation of 250k as cannon fodder wasn't good. I think the reaction to the mobilisation of another 500k of meat products would be even worse. So probably the need for martial law.Why would they need martial law are they worried about a revolution?
i saw a video of the russians attacking some trenches , they had to come down what looked like a ravine towards the trenches , no cover ,just walked towards the ukrainians ,they didn't last longHave the Russians ever moved on from WW1 tactics I wonder?
Struggling to see why NATO would intervene unless Lukashenko is removed and replaced by a pro western leader and there is resistance in Belarus along the lines of what happened early doors in Ukraine.
Does Russia have the capability to open a second front in Belarus? Would insurrection in Belarus force the abandonment of their "special operation", at least temporarily?
Interesting if it happens
You think the Ukrainians will?
Of course not. But in the end numerical numbers will start to make a difference. Like everyone, I want Ukraine to win the war, but with both sides taking massive losses in the battlefield, Putin and Russia have the numerical soldier numbers to outlast Ukraine. We all know Putin won’t stop. He will continue to meat grind Ukraines army, never mind Russia’s army, until one way or another he get’s what he wants, or he claims some sort of victory.
It’s not just about numbers, though, and their numerical advantage hasn’t helped them since the spring. Why is sending a load more of conscripts going to suddenly change the direction of travel. It’s also about weaponry and motivation, as well as numbers, both of which Ukraine has a palpable advantage in.Of course not. But in the end numerical numbers will start to make a difference.
