Scholz did a sit down with CNN and did stress any sanctions would be in lockstep with the US, so read into that what you will.

Scholz also talked about Macron and him acting in unison with the same message being given to Putin. Scholz is due to visit Moscow after Macron. Also references the Normandy 4 round of talks with France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

I’ll give Scholz props for doing a CNN sit down in a foreign language.

There’s obviously a lot going on but very interesting that Putin is getting some game time with all the Western leaders.

To be fair, he probably would have just given Ukraine to Russia on a plate because they wouldn't make up some dirt on Hunter Biden, so no need for NATO ;-)

Nobody gives a fuck about kids identifying as a cat unless you believe Richard Littlecock or the Daily Express. And the statue thing is blown out of all proportion. Four years of having Putin’s man in the White House has weakened the west and it will take time for the US and NATO to re-assert their influence. In the meantime Russia, China, Iran and NK will take the piss.

Not in conventional forces they don't. So if Russia used their large conventional forces they could walk into the Baltic States next week ,then into Poland/Germany and just keep going westwards. What would the US do, use nuclear weapons or take 6 months to muster conventional forces and get them into Europe ? The USA and Nato would never make a first nuclear strike ,I suggest Iran ,North Korea would. Nowadays would the USA actually engage in nuclear war to save Belgium or the Netherlands?...I doubt it.
