Russian invasion of Ukraine

It's all about the flags.....who raises what flag,a Russian flag or a Wagner flag.
Happened at Soledar also.....slaughtered each other, over who's flag was raised.

Slava Ukraini.
What's wagner's end game here?
Are they in it purely for the money or are they hoping to keep captured land for themselves and start their own country?

An extreme example of friendly fire no doubt.

Stolen from WW2 stories the one I remember concerns American forces it goes something like this

When the Germans bomb the English duck.
When the English bomb Germans duck, but when Americans bomd everyone ducks.
no one does Blue on Blue quite like the Sherman Tanks.

Hardly dug-in. Those islands are mostly swamps and the roads on thrm are very muddy tracks all the year round.
Not where they are, it's along the side of the Dnipro, all along that strip is (was at least) fairly posh housing, it's inland from there that it becomes swampy, check google earth, it's called Dacha, it goes on for several km.

The video's higher up show the houses all have boardwalks down to the riverside, presumably as most of the houses owned boats.

The point is the Russians had more difficultly reinforcing those positions than the Ukrainians had taking them due to the nature of the ground behind.
