Russian invasion of Ukraine

This is what I was saying earlier.....it was multiple bridges.
Not just the 3 linking Crimea......Tokmak must be key to this for some reason...Ideas?
It's getting hammered for a 4th day running.....At least 20 HIMARS strikes so far today.
Maybe it's to have the coast under fire control.

Slava Ukraini.
Tokmak is the key point in liberating of the south.

My son lives in Czech Republic and is going to Lviv with his Ukrainian girlfriend (she was moved out of Ukraine some months back with her teenage son) to visit her mother at the beginning of July.
He told me it was safe.
Has it got dangerous?
What your son should of told you is "it is safer" than most parts of Ukraine,IMO.
Nowhere in Ukraine is "Safe",The Russians can, will and continue to strike any Region at any given moment.
As someone said earlier, shelter as soon as the siren is raised.
Ukraine monitor take off of strategic bombers and raise the alarm straight away.
Normally takes the bombers around 2 hours to get to launch zone,so plenty of time to get to a shelter.
Not that any of that will make you feel any better, just letting you know, they don't just drop out of the sky immediately.
Hope he stays safe.

Got to admit that when he told me about the visit I was alarmed but when I looked at where it was I could see it's in the far west of the country, which comforted me a little.
However, thanks for your explanation about the sirens etc as I was getting fidgety again.

The U.S. House Committee backed a bipartisan resolution calling for the Biden administration to immediately provide Ukraine with ATACMS missiles. This became known at a committee meeting held on Wednesday. "ATACMS have a range of up to 190 miles, which allows Ukrainian forces to strike at territories held by the Russians," said Michael McCall, head of the committee.
