Russian invasion of Ukraine

Units have defected to wagner in the belief they could topple putin, now what for then? Haha them russian pilots died for nothing so bizarre, their families won't even get the ladas as it wasn't in Ukraine.
I really don't see where the narrative goes from here. Putin and Russia were very clear not to identify anyone as responsible, The whole thing is bizarre. If it was some evil masterplan by Putin to get Ukraine to move.....well that didn't work. Apart from proving to the world that Russia is completely unstable, I am not sure what has happened today?

Maybe marching on Kiev is a stretch, but 25,000 troops & their leaders need somewhere to lie low while things calm down, and Belarus seems logical, where they would also focus the minds of the Ukrainians to the North

Right. Taking 25,000 troops away from the front line threatens Ukraine.

Got it.

Trying my hardest to think how both of them can spin this in a positive light, it makes zero sense. There will be men in wagner furious right now.

Prigozhin knows putin cannot let that slide after declaring him a traitor and losing a shit load of costly equipment and pilots. So why would you back off if it makes you a dead man walking?

If putin gets rid of Shoigu he looks extremely weak to the world and his own population, that he would cave to intimidation.

Head wrecker this haha.

Yeah it’s all very suspect.

All the world can now see that Prigozhin has a gun to Putin’s head and can get anything he wants.

And Prigozhin has gained very little from proving this other than to have a massive target put on his back.

Getting rid of Shoigu… worth it? Err I’m going to say no.

There must be more to it.
