Not being funny but how do you know how troops have been lost in this conflict because all I hear is a load of bollox from sides claiming this and that look I mean if you just want to believe one side then that’s upto you but the horrible truth is atm Ukraine are losing thousands in this counteroffensive and are also losing lots of equipment as did he Russians during sone of there attacks but no one will believe that because it’s not what they want to want to hear . End of the day though one day this will end and then we will find out the truth

Either way , your buddy in Russia has meant even more countries have joined NATO and the EU. He is doing more to unionise the West than any leader out there - so kudos for that.

Can’t see it mate as the more I watch the more it was set up . Feel sorry for Ukraine as they are in the middle of thus usa/ uk battle with Russia in which the Ukraine soldiers are being sabre rattled by the west . I’ve always wanted this war over as it’s having a massive on the world and the economy but this country and America are stoking fires and making it worse . As for wagner forces first and foremost they are Russian and are patriots even though they are killers and pyshcopaths that’s why I was surprised by alot on here actually supporting the Wagner group who have slaughtered on mass Ukraine army and civilians .

He’s like those City fans of my vintage who talk about ‘typical City’ as if it’s something that still means anything in the context of the present day; both prisoners to a past reality that does not stand up to objective or logical scrutiny in the present day.

Anyone who cannot see the severe levels of ineptitude within both the Russian political and military machines is incapable of rational, independent and objective thought.

yes Hungary fought with the Germans as did Ukraine aswell but Hungary didn’t really have much choice as it was a case you do what your told but in 56 which started with the Hungarian students coming out in sympathy with the polish students the west basically told Hungary to rise up and make a play for it and help would come but it didn’t as the suez crisis was taking priority so we ended up getting rinsed by Russian forces . My dad told me that in Tokaj you could see and hear the Russian tanks coming over the bridges 24 hours a day .

Warsaw pact made it certain that rebellions would be crushed by USSR. Hungary was especially mistrusted as it had tried to swap sides in 1944.
Hungary’s history is no excuse for your failure to condemn aggression and firmly back Ukraine. There is no moral equivalence between the two sides in this war.
Note: On the subject of being able to make a free choice on policy, you should look more closely at Hungary‘s political history from 1930 onwards. To say they had no choice is plain wrong. Ukraine, invaded by both Germany and USSR, was a completely different matter.

If he'd wanted a nuclear war it would have happened 15 months ago when he didn't get Ukraine in 3 days.

That’s true enough, but events have a habit of taking over. We need to remind Putin daily that he is playing with fire and, where possible, remind the Russian elites too that their leader is putting their cosy life at risk.

Most of us feel for Hungary. The situation they are in and what happen 67 years ago in 1956 was a criminal shame. I`m 70 and have read and seen old grey pictures on TV of the uprising.

The world stood by and did nothing or very little to assist Hungary in its time of need. Having said that the world was a vastly different place back then. Hungary was in the Yoke of Russian influence being part of the Soviet Bloc. The USSR were stronger and the threat of Nuclear War was palpable. America and it`s allies had just come out of The Korean War and Vietnam War, with The Cuban missile Crisis yet to hit.

The Ukraine and other ex soviet bloc countries have broken or attempted to break free, some being more successful than others. Russia`s attack on the Ukraine was wrong and the outrageous behaviour of Russia needs to be stopped.

As I`ve always said the Berlin wall wasn`t built to keep the west out it was built to keep the population in.

Again were are sorry what happened to Hungary but to help more then could of put everyone existence at risk.

I've been supporting City for more than 70 years and am still not used to us winning more than we lose yet alone winning 3 trophies in one season.
