Russian invasion of Ukraine

Interesting comments from the US military, worth a watch...

That former US military guy is literally the person who has spoken the most inaccuracies about the ongoing war, which were later exposed as lies. He uses his status as a former U.S. military member to make people believe that he's special or has privileged information and to say the most absurd things about Ukraine in order to gain likes and views. Additionally, he is a frequent guest on pro-Russian programs, including Russian state TV.

Some of his posts get community-corrected despite the fact that his fans try really hard to downvote them.

For over a year, he has been saying stuff like "the war is going to end in the next few weeks, and Ukraine is going to lose really bad".

The US media space, together with social media is a danger to the whole world.

It's scary how many completely obvious lies and fantasies become accepted facts by a large slice of the population.

Note the attempts by many of the same people to make the same happen here. The BBC gets a lot of stick on here, I'm not sure why, but is massive defence against this. It's also highly influential internationally, this from the US.
