It's genius mate.....last thing the Russians expected....this is my thinking why they have gone at Horlivka.
Obviously, bear in mind the turn in weather and supply routes around Horlivka are covered.
If Ukraine take Horlivka,Donetsk will be split in 2...of that i am sure. The Russians can't afford for it to fall.
They need reinforcements,but where from?
The South?....nope,already been stripped of resources and are struggling on the left bank.
Zaporizhzhia Region?....nope,also struggling like fuck, especially Robotyne area.
Maybe far North?....nope,weather again, coupled with a huge amount of Ukrainian Mechanized Units, which i did mention a few week back.
So now, where can they get men and equipment from quickly?
Well, where does Horlivka sit?......Smack bang in the middle of Bakhmut and Avdiivka, about 30km from each.
So which one?.....Bakhmut,where they are slowly but surely being pushed back?
Avdiivka, where Ukraine have started to retake lost positions?
The Russians could be in serious trouble in the East with this.
It's a bold move by Ukrainian command,but genius,IMO.
Heroyam Slava.
Indeed.
**** sounded desperate today ;)Indeed.
Putin be holding a 6th floor Tea party for his high command if Ukraine take Horlivka.
Slava Ukraini.
To be honest, I'm beginning to think that the Ukrainians might be better just hanging on to the land they have at present. And wait until they get sufficient weapons and planes to launch an effective counter attack. Their efforts to date are admirable but they are essentially stuck in this trench warfare battle of attrition. And the gains towards the black sea coast have been minimal in total. It’s not like Hollywood when the hero carries on fighting having been hit with 50 bullets and 5 grenades
The Russians already have a claimed 40:1 artillery advantage, and are out producing and out buying the west, you can’t give them 3/4/5 months to stockpile further and also exponentially solidly the southern defences even.To be honest, I'm beginning to think that the Ukrainians might be better just hanging on to the land they have at present. That’s why Putin invaded Crimea Ukraine didn’t want a Putin puppet in charge anymore, Ukrainians want to be part of the European community I don’t think they’ll ever give up every bomb that’s dropped and lives lost make it impossible to give upI was in Kiev and Kharkiv 2weeks before that, everything seemed Normal and calm. Fuxked up to see what has become there.
