What could be worse than what the Russians have inflicted on them already. Just more death. Its happening anyway sadly.

That's a huge if imo as I don't think Putin would get past his inner command circle to execute that order.

I think I re-brought Russian nukes back into the discussion. My apologies.
But it’s been taken the wrong way.
i just brought up Russia’s lack of use of them, despite rhetoric saying they would. And contrasted that with the now capability of Ukraine to bring down the Kerch bridge, but they have chosen not too, and outlined several military and strategic reasons why That might be.

But that argument surely falls down when you factor in that they have already tried to destroy it at least twice. I'm no military expert, but I've read enough books to understand that if you cut an Armies supply routes and starve it of ammunition, food and supplies it becomes ineffective. Its happened dozens of times in numerous conflicts throughout the world.

Or that as the Kerch bridge is standing and has to be heavily defended, it's keeping an awful lot of ruSSian air defence occupied

It's the same reason the ruSSians attack Ukrainian cities
It keeps the best Ukrainian equipment away from the front lines

No - just saying it is a major escalation point that probably croses a NATO red line. Russia is well aware of that - as was the US using Nukes during the Vietnam War.
I say probably as we haven't a clue what has been said to Russia and vice versa via back channels.
