Russian invasion of Ukraine

Remember the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant.

No Ukrainians working there now.
No IAE inspections etc.

The uptick in Russian aircraft lost due to launching big glide bombs may be due to this...

The Russians have been importing specialised steel to make the barrels for around 20 years. - They didn't have the capability and have been trying to manufacture at home again as these steels are sanctioned by the west (I wouldn't trust Chinese steel for this job either - the west doesn't import specialist steels from China for a reason).
But even so the artillary loses (as well as Tanks and BMP) well exceeds production levels.
Also artilary needs regular barrel replacement and Korean Amo shortens barrel life dramatically judging by the number of pics of barrels that broke firing a shell.

Let's hope this is the case.

Let's hope Macron is going to step up and deliver military kit to Ukraine and match his rhetoric.
Sadly, the proof of tge pudding is in the eating.
