Maybe the US restrictions about weapons reaching into Russia was part of an agreement with China for them not to supply arms.
Since it seems China is now supplying arms to Russia the US might lift those restrictions...

The US don't want escalation in Ukraine which do them no good. Their first priority is east asia. But as Ukraine is losing the war, it's time to lift some restrictions.

All the Ruzzian advances in Kharkiv are happening because of build ups of their troops on their side of the border not being hit with the NATO weapons. This is war Putin and his mates in China aren’t playing by the book, why should Ukraine and NATO.
