As I said the other day, it kind of depends how Russia uses them?
With a blocking unit, drugged, etc.
Then there's your family back home - though chances are with Meatwave tactics you'd probably be dead if you did as you follow orders.
But yeah - If I was them I'd surrender on the spot.

There is also the issue that most of them are probably so brainwashed into think NK is amazing they don’t know that defecting is even an option or why they would.
