But Europe step up? Trump is both correct and very naive. The whole of Europe has become very complacent with military strength and unity but collectively hold the most strategic trade routes/air routes on the planet. Vice versa, US is an enormous super power when it comes to military strength and the amount of strategic bases they have very much depends on alliances.If Trump pulls out but Europe step up, would we still need to get their permission to use certain weapons? Is there a non American version of storm shadow etc that can be bought.
