So Labour announce £500 million in defence cuts for our armed forces who are supposed to defend this country but can send weapons and missiles costing millions to assist Nazi regimes in Ukraine ( and Israel).

Sorry in whose demented head does this make any sense ?

Stop sending our weapons to foreign countries, we are going to need them to defend ourselves if this escalates out of control.

Why did we bother a few weeks ago remembering those who died fighting Nazism in World War Two ? They must be turning in their graves at the betrayal of their sacrifices!

It’s not defence cuts as such, the savings are all being retained within defence, as in it’s there to be reinvested alongside the 3 billion extra they’re spending next year.

I did actually know he used to collect Nazi memorabilia. I remember he was accused of throwing out a Nazi salute after his fight with Albert Sosnowski back in 2010 too.

Pretty damning really.

I feel sorry for the innocent people of Ukraine but that is a country with Neo Nazi's right in middle of its politics. They've gone back on so many agreements with Russia since the US basically had a hand in essentially replacing the old Ukrainian government with people they'd prefer in charge in 2014.

Not that I agree with the invasion, but if Russia essentially starting controlling the politics of Mexico to the point of interfering to put in a government they can control and started edging closer and closer in power to the US border , the US would do what Russia have done.

A lot of people here have clearly bought into the western medias narrative of Russia and the whole situation. It's complex and not all one sided, there's blame on both sides. It's just sad innocent folk get caught in the middle, as usual.

Ah I get it now. Russia, whilst Commies, are the good guys because they are fighting Nazis.

Why didn't someone explain that years ago. I thought it was all about reclaiming land, especially the very productive grain areas the USSR had and the Crimean sea ports.

Nothing wrong with that statement. Ukraine has lost the war. Russia needs to come to the table and name it's terms. Ukraine need to accept that they have lost territory and come to terms with it and demand assurances and protection from the West to prevent further losses.

All of what you say is true, but it does not negate the fact that Ukraine is defeated and that the war needs to stop and that conflict is not worth starting WW3 or a nuclear conflict over.

Russia under United Russia is about as far Right as you can get. It stopped being commie a long time ago. If it's Socoalist then it's National Socialist which historically is shortened to Nazi.
