Russian invasion of Ukraine

I am sure this conflict is having a disproportionate effect on those of us who experience mental health issues.
Having said that I wouldn’t use BM to alleviate those fears.
I genuinely feel sorry for some posters on here who are visibly suffering.
To try and help though think of the following:
* I would like to think that there are skilled diplomats on both sides using back channels to try and reach a compromise.
* I cannot see China supporting Putins use of any Nuclear arsenal.
* Although it’s difficult to envisage an end game at the moment we are some way off from global annihilation.

The vast majority of the World had become united in a way that didn’t seem possible.
Whatever the outcome we could well see a whole new world after this.

Why ?
NATO is made up of the EU and the UK plus the yanks and seem to be doing just fine.
NATO includes Norway and several ex soviet states.

That's double the number of US troops lost in Afghanistan over 20 years, and that's 4 days in!
If those numbers are anywhere near real and not just propaganda there's only two ways this can go. End of Putin or it goes WMD.
I have a hard time believing Russia have lost 5400 in 4 days and Ukraine are about 200-300.

Peace talks? Pull your forces out, give Ukraine billions in reparations, have soldiers assist in repairing the physical damages, agree to nuclear disarmament (at least the ICBM's) apologise profusely, raise no objections to Ukraine joining NATO and/or the EU, fuck off in silence until you die.

Oh I can! :)

They're fighting a 2020's war with 1980's tactics. Mobile forces armed with multiple javelin's and stinger's fighting a guerilla war are a chaotic nuisance. They expected a Seelow Heights scenario with tank superiority winning the day and it's not how it's turned out.

Can someone explain to me why the Russians seem to keep running out of petrol? Seen videos of farmers stealing armoured vehicles that had been abandoned because they had run out. Two Russian lads captured because they knocked on a police station asking for fuel and a Georgian tanker telling a Russian ship to go fuck themselves when they asked if they could have some fuel. Is it bad luck, supply lines being cut or are the Russian army not the elite force they've been telling us.
Supply lines. Russian army very short of lorries, tankers etc because they rely on railways.
