I was simply meaning he is going into another country to support the regime. If he is too aggressive some may consider it an 'invasion' and rebel further. I am not saying I am right, my knowledge of politics within the 'stans' is very limited.Potentially but Russia also has areas in it's own territory with greater majorities of Muslims. Why would Putin let crackdowns on Muslims happen when he already accepts sharia law in Chechnya?

Fair enough. There have also been attacks from Russian separatists organisations in the past. From what I can tell, most of them practice a very moderate form of Islam.

What's your defense to calling the Kazakh nation a country of outdoor lavatories?
Yes we still own Australia , part of the reason I am going there is to check it is being run properly.
With regards to Khazi Stan I will say in my defence that I read the books and watched the TV programmes that Simon Reeve did about the Stans. They were brilliant, Uzbekistan Khazistan Hildaandstan. Not much of a defence I know but slightly better than the Colston 4 one. :-)
