Germany is in mourning for the death of its two decade old Russian policy and struggling to come to terms with the fact it turned out to be a strategic mistake.

Even worst, it turned out that the Eastern Europeans were right all along.

Germany is always reluctant to change course - nimble footed it is not - but bashing them repeatedly over the head is the only way to get them to move. They’ll get there in the end, though.

Nothing is ever going to top that one from the first fortnight of the war where the camera was at 90 degrees to the helicopter and got everything in perfect HD as the missile was fired, hit, and then the crash.

That’s going to get reused in documentary and stock footage for decades.
