Listened to the Telegraph's Ukraine podcast (which is excellent) today and it was said on there that despite ruSSia throwing everything at Ukraine this year, its gained 0.01% more ground than it held at the end of 2023 and the concensus is that if in 2025 Ukraine can hold what it has and the ruSSian losses continue as they are, then in 2026 ruSSia will have to negotiate and then go back on whatever it agrees to.
