Russian invasion of Ukraine



TLDW: I've not watched it all myself yet but basically saying recruitment numbers are down due to the fact areas in Russia are no longer able to pay the big salaries and bonuses for joining the military and in some areas even when they can still pay it less and less are signing up and people are noticing soldiers going and not coming back.

Currently the military salary and bonus equates to more than what some people would have earned in there entire life time which kept recruitment numbers up but some areas just cant do it anymore.

That would be totally counterproductive, I feel.
Hitting non-nuclear defence targets, oil and gas transit + refining targets, defence manufacturers and non-nuclear infrastructure is more than effective.

Amazingly Pokrovsk & Myrnohradand havn't fallen yet but things are very difficult for the defenders. Ukraine is hanging on in the northern and western sectors.

The head of an establishment telling people that they must spend more to support his establishment, who’d have guessed it.

We do need to fund our defence, but we need to do it internally and not at the bequest of the US.

Uf Trump wants elections then Ukraine will comply but it must have security Russia must also hold and comply with elections.:):)
 
I’d take 1 Zelenskyy over a billion trumps, anytime. He stuck firm when many would have run away, and even though he had assurances then, he’s continued to fight for his country against overwhelming odds.

A real paragon of his time, he, and his country, will not be forgotten for their defiance against not only the aggressor, but those that were purported to support them.
