Trump is in no position to question anyone’s antics and diplomacy isn’t even on his radar.
These flare ups will happen in every troubled or disputed region. It’s easy to understand how some countries remain neutral because if you commit yourself to supporting one side over another, you never know what kind of rabbit hole you’ll be dragged into.

These flare ups will happen in every troubled or disputed region. It’s easy to understand how some countries remain neutral because if you commit yourself to supporting one side over another, you never know what kind of rabbit hole you’ll be dragged into.

The point is that someone of Trump's stature should be in a position to knock their heads together and tell them to calm down, but he's f*cked that up in spades with his underhand dodgy dealings in places like Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Since taking office in 2016, he has undone decades of diplomatic relations, and reduced the USA to a laughing stock on the world stage.
