The actress died in hospital on Friday after surgery for a fall earlier in the week, her agent says.

Another one of the Hi -di - Hi stalwarts gone to the big Maplins Holiday Camp in the sky.
I hope she remembers to wear her yellow coat.

I met her many years ago as I worked with her then son in law, he was married to her daughter and her father was the actor who played the German commander in Dads Army in the famous Dontvtell him your name episode. Very nice lady such a shame, RIP.

I paid tribute this morning by swimming in an Olympic sized swimming pool.
