I don't see the problem..... ?

Football is a sport that has been repackaged as Entertainment.

The most high profile Music Stars will earn the most money.
The most high profile actors earn the most money.

Same with Football, sure the likes of Wayne Bridge aren't the best players out there but at the time of signing his contract was high profile and thus commanded that wage packet.

I believe Sport should be sporting and thus the introduction of Salary Capping, and the abolishment of Transfer Fee's keeps the game on a level playing field, and clubs in lower leagues able to compete.

But the Hollywood Money Men run this game and they want to produce the next blockbuster, so we like lemmings all flock to the nearest Cinema to watch the likes of Shrek.... The celebrity status of players is a big section of the entertainment package created by big money men.

I'm jealous big time, I'd love £200,000 a week, wouldn't we all? but remember it's only a select few who earn this sort of money.
Many players down in the lower leagues can't even afford to pay for petrol to get to games..... Which is why Salary capping and abolishment of transfer fee's should be introduced.

How will one equate to the other? How will a salary cap in the Prem means Bob Smith at Dag & Red gets more money?

Funny - that one really sticks out to me too :-)

I just think starting duo of Aguero and Balotelli is set in RM's mind.

So, IMO Edin will have to either accept the 3rd striker role (that he never had in his career, so I doubt it), or look for another team...

Or me and you are just reading too much into it :-)

Actually you are spot on there. At worst its just a slight mistake though. We all know Bobby rates Edin

That's not it though. If we're honest - right now Balotelli does not belong in the same sentence with Messi and Ronaldo...so it appears RM named two of the best in the world, then his own forwards...so not mentioning Edin is really interesting, actually.

RVP is a very very good player and would score goals in our (or any) team anywhere. He has the fuckin lot. 30 goals in a good (but not great) team is fantastic by any standards.

I'd offer them Dzeko, Bridge and 5m.
