Ryan Giggs - an evening with..... in Hertfordshire (p115)

She certainly had a husband when they first met. Although she claims she’d already left him before they started a relationship.

Can't really feel sympathetic for her about the cheating when everyone knows he has never been faithful.

That’s how these people operate. They convince people no matter what history suggests, that they are the one who has changed them.

Although as the defence and the judge have been at pains to point out, this case isn’t about judging Giggs’ morals or infidelity. Shagging around and being an all round **** isn’t against the law.

Yeah I know he must have pulled the charm on. I was gonna include something like "what is special about you love"? Obviously there isn't in this context, he is a creepy oddball who likes getting his own way all the time.

Wasn't suggesting there was, that's why I said specifically about the infidelity. It's all part of his criminal behaviour though if the allegations are true, degrading and controlling women.

Wait until the jury are back. The judge might be asked to go and have a look at the court side monitor....
It'll be - You are a vile, depraved and disgusting excuse of a human being Mr Giggs and will be taken from here to a place of execution and... oh hang on Stokely Park are saying I might want to reverse that and thank you for your attendance, apologise for any inconvenience and recommend you for a knighthood.

Having read a summary of all the evidence, which it has to said is a lot different from hearing it in person, I’ll be a bit surprised if the prosecution have proved their case to the jury, on the more serious charge at least.

Although the defence is clearly worried about the impression Giggs gave the jury when he was giving evidence. He likened him to being like “A rabbit caught in the headlights” and “agreeing with everything the prosecution said to him.” He then compared the mismatch of one of the leading prosecutors of the last 40 years to him trying to save a penalty from Giggs in his heyday.
