All those aside what a great true professional he is. he is local, honest, always gives 100%, doesnt moan to much for a footballer and more importantly, he is a bloody good player and a true professional. Its a shame there are not as many professionals like him and if there were, football would be a better game. I dont want him to win Sports Personality as there are better candidates than himself, but if there is a lifetime achievement award, i would like it to go to him. Any thoughts???

April 2009 He was awarded PFA Player of the year, when he had only played 12 games. That was a disgrace to our game IMO .Media Hype was fuelled by his manager hinting it would be a fitting gesture for Giggs to receive the award for his long term contribution to the game. Which worked very well in that instance.rickmcfc said:Ok, my tin hat is on and so is the body armour. He plays for them, bad point no1, bad point no2 hes welsh. ok, the bad bits are out of the way.
