OK we have been beaten around the head about attendances, but this is the only thing our haters have to go on right now. Why listen to them? Seems wrong to me that so many on here are agreeing with them and saying that we need to sell out cup matches first. We don't - only need to do that if you want to avoid the "Emptihad" jibe.
It is nonsense to focus on the number of empty seats, the point is to maximise the revenue and attendances and let as many new City fans as possible get into the habit of coming to games rather than sitting on messageboards worrying about how many empty seat there are and what our enemies say.
It is simple, we are selling already out our league games in the expanded stadium - so we need to expand otherwise how can we increase attendances
