I just read something on this which quoted transgender people as having something like a 1 in 3 suicide rate. Not sure how accurate this is, but if so then they may have been suicidal anyway.

she/he may well have been suicidal but even IF they actually were then this article has certainly caused them to take their own life.

it's a disgusting thing to write about (attack) somebody like this in the national press. if someone wants to be gay or change their sexuality then that's their choice and they shouldn't have to deal with shit like this.
