These things aren't because of safe standing and it shouldn't be confused as so.

There are probably hundreds of YouTube vids of crowd trouble at all-seater stadiums.

The trouble has always started in the safe standing sections in these examples; it's for this reason many German ministers have called for the areas to be scrapped.

The standing areas in Germany are at opposite ends of the grounds so home and away standers are kept well apart. The German hoolies then go to the seated area next to the away fans (standing) to cause trouble.
Fans in the home standing areas have no one (other than themselves) to fight!

Help is required for the Safe Standing campaign.

An Early Day Motion has been raised in Parliament with the aim to build support amongst MPs for a relaxation in the government’s stance, to allow safe standing trials in the Premier League or Championship.

The more MPs who sign the more likely the government is to allow these trials, which could pave the way for (official) standing areas at Premier League and Championship clubs.

Please follow this link to sign the petition and email your MP.

Signed it and had a reply from my MP saying he was supporting the motion and would be raising the issue with the parliamentary party to gain more support.

Sign the petition (if you have not already done so) and email your MP, after all, it is our votes that got them there, and our taxes that are paying them, start to use our vote.

Would be great if you could let me know name of your MP who is supportive.

Also any other responses that fans get, positive or negative would be helpful too.

The FSF are collating responses from MPs.

Thanks

We feel safe. Do you?

Dear All,
Please see the following link

I would like to ask you for two things:
1. Please contribute to the list, if you ever have been to a German stadium for a game of football and you felt safe
2. Please spread the word and make Fans from other clubs aware

Thank you for your support!

Cheers,
Tom
