Safe Standing: Rail Seating in South Stand

Good to see City getting on board. One of those things that sounds good but will have zero actual impact once we're all back at games though. Those areas are already standing, nobody sits and nobody tries to make you sit. Might stop a few aggressive celebrating tumbles at least.

Balancing out losing seats due to the larger advertising boards.

Will be interesting to see what the safe standing seat prices are compared to the seats that are being replaced. And if there are any price changes?

TBH the safe standing seats at the new Spurs ground didn’t make City fans sing any louder or for longer. A few City fans were resting on the bars and falling asleep. :-)

This is good news. A few years back this was going no where. It is the areas of the ground where people stand any way but this will just make that easier. And no doubt more of the ground will follow.

Big anti climax. Who knows when standing will be permitted (officially) anyway ?
Wasn't worth all the anticipation. Typical City. :-)
Standing is already permitted. There is no law that states that you you cannot stand up/ have to sit down while watching football in the Premier League, the only law is that all stadiums have to be all-seater but you do not have to sit down on those seats.

The only thing is, the governing body has an ‘unofficial’ rule that says that clubs can eject people for refusing to sit down if confronted by stewards and told to sit down. But, again, this doesn’t mean you can’t stand up/have to sit down.
