I was told by one of our stewards on Sunday. 109-110 is to have safe-standing as a trial for next season. It has had the go ahead 111 will remain as 'seating' as a buffer between the away section. There will be an increase in capacity and COST. Tickets in this area will cost more. It will cover the rear section the front rows will also remain as seats

Going to be interesting to see how they prevent extra people getting in that area beyond the new increased in capacity.

How much would the capacity increase by? 750 tops I reckon.

Also how can you charge somebody more to stand?

All for it mind.

How will they make 111 sit down? Never happen

Presumably a pre season friendly or domestic cup game to avoid problems with season ticket holders? If the rumour's true

If 109's included isn't that going to obstruct the view from 107 (maybe that's why it's back rows only?)

Why would it cost more?

One of the points of safe standing is that it reduces ticket prices because of an increase in ticket revenue from more fans. If city increased prices it would be taking the piss aswell as making it kinda pointless

I wonder exactly what the trial would be trialling? ; if that makes sense!

Trying to keep the gangways clear would be a nightmare. Also stewards would struggle to see much by sitting down and trying to look in.

I think to be honest, that unless they have a clear defined area that doesn't impact on seated fans then it will have limited validity as a trial
