Sagna fined 40K for social media post.

And where do you think a complaint from the club would help or get us? It will immediately be leaked by senior officials within the corrupt system - an obvious name springs to mind - and then the media knives will be out AGAIN. As for getting "some media on side", who do you suggest? There may be individual "journalists" who may be impartial, but do you seriously believe that the their editors would fly in the face of what the non - City supporting public would enjoy reading?

As for Mason having a poor game, it was a pretty average one for him, as he's just the same whenever he turns up to referee us. And why would Sagna get a 4 game ban? For what? Stating the truth? The standard of refereeing is at an all - time low, and it appears to me that it is not even subtle anymore what they are trying to do. From the top downwards the system is corrupt, pushed by the vested interests and greed of those who control the game.

I would have liked the club to have asked the FA and Mike Riley to have explained some of Taylor's inconsistent decisions against Chelsea. I think clubs can put pressure on Referees look at the sway taggert had over them at the swamp. But I admit I certainly have no expert knowledge of how these things work. Media wise we certainly arnt the media darlings at present. But perhaps the club should be doing more to court favour with those that see things our way and perhaps exclude a bit those that don't?
And why would they be able to say it was frustration when we won the game?

I meant Sagna posted because he was frustrated with the level of Masons performance.

That would be admitting that there was something wrong with the officiating and justifying his actions, that's why you criticise the ****s when you win.

He can't, the most he'll get is a one game ban, anything else would be disproportionate and unprecedented and could be appealed to CAS. Precedent there would suggest a successful appeal.
Aguero93.20 I didn't know that, if so fair enough. I stand corrected. I was trying to explain at the end of the original post that Pep needs to instill a siege mentality and get all the team disciplined so we don't get anymore unnecessary bans. That's all.

We are at crossed wires here, I don't mean to suggest sagna should say he was frustrated in his explanation to the FA. Just pointing out the obvious as to why he posted in the first place.

But if he said it was a typo, they'd have to give him a motive to criticise the referee if they wanted to say he was lying.
