Nowhere near good enough for Manchester City Fact
It's not so likely we are going to try & sort out every problem in this transfer window, I don't think. Buying defenders & def mids is boring & is a hit & miss affair. We had a go last season & the results so far are not yet convincing, same as when we tried with Nastasic & Javi Garcia & Rodwell etc. Last season was an attempt at a boring, functional transfer window. If the right bloke becomes available, we may have a go, but it's not a priority.
This one, imo, we are trying to bring in top players to inspire the team & give us a boost. Not any Tom Dick or Harry to play 10% better than Kolarov or Clichy. We are after certain particular players who are difficult to get. We've got one, & we are trying for others. If we get another one or two, then the boring functional stuff may be the top priority next window.
If it's true it isn't to get our h/g numbers up as they are at a maximum of 4 anyway and to have him in the squad would be at the expense of an overseas player, would including Iheanacho. Again big if but if true I could see it being a replacement for Navas.Just to get our homegrown numbers up, what a state we've got ourselves into re that. It's the People anyway with no quotes whatsoever so bullshit.
Patience! 35 years in the wilderness and look where we have been in the last 5.Not really fair that mate as what he said is actually pretty much on the money! After our chairman's bravado statement we have still not addressed the important areas that
needed sorting? Yesterday's performance at the back has caused great concern as it'll be the defence that starts our premier league season by the looks of it! Sterling looks immense but with a week to go we have gone nowhere or even backwards with the pogba deal, havent even bid on de bruyne and are exceedingly shit at left back still! Txiki we are told is the best in the business but jury still out imo.
I've not paid any attention to West Brom and their players
Is he any good?

Sterling is quality and created 2 goals out of nothing yesterday even when the team was struggling.
From what others have said it would be pointless bidding for De Bruyne until we have space for the overseas players in the squad. I have not checked but it makes sense.
The team looked very rusty, but I think we will be the strongest squad by some distance.
Berahino is a top quality player. I can not understand why he is not rated. Look at his record
But our defence last season was awful as well neville? I know we all want the razzmatazz players but i genuinely fear for our season if the defence doesn't get upgraded asap! We have in silva, sterling, aguero and hopefully de bruyne all the flair we need but without hart being amazing last season we would have been pummelled in quite a few games!
