Saido Berahino

If berahino leaves, one of the clubs in the frame would be Liverpool as he is likely to play regular if he went there and he has links there. He nearly left wba last summer so possible he may go this summer. Not heard anything about our supposed interest.

Yes. In the last 5 years we've spent - £38m Aguero
£28m Dzeko
£22m Balotelli
£22m Jovetic
£16m Negredo
£25m Bony

Total £149m or so.

Ibrahimovic - £71m
Neymar - £71.5m
Suarez - £76m
Sanchez - £25m
Villa - £30m

Total £273.5m or so, plus whoever else they signed

Sanchez and Neymar are more wingers/forwards than your typical striker type but even at that it seems Barca have still spent more but was IBRA really £71 mil??

£49m and Eto'o (who sources close to the two clubs reported was valued at £22m in the transaction).

The way the rags etc have bumped up transfer fees, god knows how it's all going to turn out in the future.

But if we are loaded due to the rumoured ffp situation, we should just shit on them anyway & make it close to impossible for them to sign players.

That's been their game with us.

I agree, it wouldn't even cost us anything to do so. Say the rags are interested in player x from south America and the price is £10m, I'm sure the selling club and agent wouldn't have a problem if, at the point the vermin hordes have wanked themselves into a frenzy over 'the new Jarzinho' or whatever the fuck they think up, we leak it to the press that we're preparing a £35m bid with triple the wages on offer. God knows we've pulled it with Barcelona more than once already.

Berahino is another Scott Sinclair waiting to happen...

Some people saying Kelechi is better than Berahino - OMFG what fucking planet are you from? I don't see Kelechi in the England U21 squad....

I hope Kelechi grows up to be even better for us than Aguero but some people really are getting ahead of themselves.

When Kelechi gets a pre season into him, I'm pretty sure he would be at least good enough to be in the England U21 squad, if he was actually English. More likely he'll be in the full Nigerian squad a year from now if he stays fit & does the bis for Nigeria in the upcoming U20s championship.

He has had almost year without playing serious football & is still scoring for City's U21s in almost every game he plays , without being anywhere near real match fitness.

Some of you need to have a look at the standard of team he was playing in, for Nigeria. Their U17s would be a force the Premier League U21s league.

Unless he changes his agent I doubt Liverpool would go anywhere near him atm
