Really enjoyed that, good win against a quality side. Poor finishing 2nd half made it nervy, but Bernado is back!

Needed the win and once again the defence saved the day . I’m glad that hat John stones has prooved many on here me included wrong and I’m the first to hold my hands up . Cannot understand our lack of goals as it’s not as if we have shit attackers but we have on paper top drawer attackers who should really be putting the likes of saints to bed . Wish pep would buy a striker short term in January just to gives us a boost . Hope this Dennis Zakaria is the real deal .

Southampton were no mugs so in that respect it was a very good win given our current problems but we will not get away with scoring 1 goal every time we play so unless we start scoring quickly we are knackered. The defence will not save us every match. And tbf you cant blame Pep for our diaboilical finishing today or should I say lack of it. Mahrez in particular dear dear me.

Did ok, rode our luck at times but could also have killed the game several times. Result was more important than the performance today. Bernie looked more like his old self. Missing easy chances still a worry

Thought on the balance of play Southampton deserved a point but I'll take three.
I try to watch the game without blue goggles.

So going by your observation.last season think it was 76% possession to us but got beaten.
So on balance off play we deserved a point.
But hey ho,the games about who scores more wins..

Mate you said at no point did we look like we were in control. Maybe total control is over stepping it but we were in control second half. 1-0 is always a tight game but we Changed tactics and completely nullified their attack second half.

How exactly did we change our tactics in the 2nd half?

I actually enjoyed the game.. Was nice to see Southampton attack rather than just defend all game.
We need to take our chances though.. I watched it with no commentary as I can't be doing with the negativity from the wankers.
Popped into the match thread at half time and remembered why I usually avoid it.. Fuck me there is some negative fuckers on there.

We were in control against WBA and they nicked a fluke deflection. They were attacking us a lot so the game was always nervy.
