Salford City 2019/20

Lucrative land in Lower Kersal? Isn't that what you call an oxymoron?
Wouldn't surprise me if they move in very soon. As someone else said, little, no or inadequate segregation.
Plus the AJ Bell is hardly paying dividends for Salford Reds; only get a couple of thousand per home game.
Surely though, the Football League would've assessed Moor Lane, with all the other promotion chasers, as they approached the end of last season to endure they met safety guidelines?
The AJ Bell is said to be a pain in the arse for fans as there are wide restrictions on parking.
The Moor Lane ground will have been assessed by the EFL but I don't think there's much assessment of the surrounding area in terms of parking, pubs and any other match day facilities. I think a couple of fences will go up over the summer and some more burger van style refreshment facilities installed.

The AJ Bell wan't the best for access, although they now have the new route in via the new weighbridge near the Ski Centre, which should alleviate some of the traffic. All purely hypothetical though as they are still at Moor Lane.

As you say, I doubt much will have been done to assess the surrounding area.

The ground holds 5,106 and their average attendance last season was 2,489; so double the people, more cars/coaches, etc.

The locals will be kicking off and the Leeds game could be a disaster waiting to happen.

I used to live over Bury New Road from Moor Lane. It’s high-value land alright and it’s leafy Kersal Vale, not Lower Kersal!

Must admit, I didn't think about it from that side. I was solely thinking about Kersal, which doesn't scream suburbia, if I'm being brutally honest.

Just watching their opening game against Stevenage, when Salford scored the Sky commentator said that goal will be celebrated from Salford to Singapore.

Fucking hell a sense of humour at Sky ?

Not all as stupid as Jim bleeding White then.

I have no issues at all with them and watched quite a few of their games when televised.
Good luck to `em.Good Manager as well.
Didn’t realise he had played forty times for Scotland.
