Doku was the best player on the pitch.

Nunes, O'Reilly and Grealish also good. Mubama faded a bit 2nd half but never stopped trying. McAtee got 3 goals and so I guess should be in consideration but I wasn't overly impressed with his all round performance.

Gave it to Doku, McAtee just admitted he was frustrated not to be involved enough first half - second half brilliant though

Thought O’Reilly was excellent, unfamiliar position but immaculate in everything he did. Rangy with that ability to run away from players with ease.

Delighted for McAtee, Doku excellent and thought Nunes was good as well.

The latter two need to be producing that level of impact against the top teams though, that’s the real measure for them.

Doku was lively but McAtee for his reaction to his first goal. You could see how much it meant to him. Hope he can kick on now.

A lot of good performances as should be expected against poor opposition. Gave it doku, thought MacAtee took his goals well, chuffed to bits for him but he gave the ball away a lot 1st half and that is what pep will have taken more notice of than the goals against a league 2 side

Grealish made a lot of those chances today. He's much better when he's allowed to roam in the middle.

Toss up between Doku and McAtee but I’ll give it James because he’s been so poorly treated.

I assumed he was more of a midfielder but he actually excelled further forward putting chances away.

Even though he went off with 20 minutes to go my money was on Doku, but you can't ignore a hattrick. Well done young James, 5 of the 8 goals all scored by academy graduates, you can't complain about that.

Doku probably our best player today. Plenty of decent performances.
But I have harped on a bit about McAtee not being given minutes, so I had to give it to him. I liked Grealish, O’ Reilly, Doku, Nunes. Clean sheet for Eddie!
