Has anybody been to the stadium and checked out the surrounds. Will we need ice skates when we get there?
You might if it stays like this. I live a mile away, and I was like Bambi on ice walking to work this morning.

Yes, sod this lot. Salford isn't a football club. To me it was always a rubbish rugby league team and my main memory of them was seeing them beaten 43=0 by Swinton, blue defeating red as will happen on Saturday.
I used to play against them 40 odd years ago when they were Salford Amateurs. They were one of the best Saturday afternoon teams around - Manchester League.

I never lost to them :-) Let's hope it continues.

My little one’s first game - 4 years old - and he’s going to be fucking freezing!!

Luckily, obsessed with football and specifically Haaland/Kev/Stones so fingers crossed it’s a fast-paced game!
Plenty of layers mate, you can always take them off if you are too warm.

Watched Karl Robinson pre-match press conference. Came across really well , clearly a lot of respect for Pep.

Their preparations have been badly hit by the weather so they have only been able to train indoors on a small pitch.

They will definitely be up for it so not the game to mess about with the team selection.

Think it will be closer than people expect.

C'mon City, time to get our season back on track.
