Salford City programme!

Anyone noticed that Gary Neville has astro-turf rather than grass. The programme that the BBC did about Rooney - he has it at his gaff too.
Plastics?

Despite the rag angle it is a good fly on the wall insight into the reality of running a non-league football team.
They had a cracking start but it soon turned sour. The manager has just been given the boot and the team have no confidence.
I felt quite sorry for the partner of that player who has been suffering from depression. He was earning £9k a week when he was with Wigan and is now getting £300 for Salford...... and warming his arse on the bench. It must be a total mind fuck.

I defy any true football fan not to enjoy this programme

Gotta take your blue tinted specs off for an hour mind

Enjoyable watch, that was. I'd like them to have filmed the manager being sacked.

Fly on the wall football documentaries rarely disappoint. It's the dressing room shouting that makes it.

Nothing compares with John Sutton though

Working tonight, and would have turned it off at home on principle, but everyone else wanted to watch it, so had no choice really.

It was actually not what I thought it would be, the bbc sticking their tongue up the rag arses.

It was very much about the club, and the people at it, and how the changes being made are affecting a grass root football club, some for the good, some not, much better than I expected, and as Blumers Bloomers says quite watch able, and it wasn't in anyway the biased rag propaganda I expected.
