It’s like Salford Red Devils in Super League. I just couldn’t get on board with them for being Red Devils, but I’m not from Salford. I know Salfordian City fans who go to the AJ Bell to watch the Red Devils n’all.

Used to watch Salford RLFC quite a bit through the summer at the Willows. Used to have some great piss ups as Eccles and Weaste had plenty of pubs. Not sure how many pubs there still going and not been since stadium move but always enjoyed trips to the Willows.Nothing wrong with Salford Red Devils at all, it's been their nickname for nearly 100 years. As usual it's the scummy lot from Trafford who tainted the name after pinching it.
