Sam Allardyce

The press will be bigging up any Cockney, so Hoddle, Redknapp, Venables, Pardew etc etc

I cant see Hoddle being given another chance he lost the plot too much last time.

Arry wont want the job as he knows its a no win situation for him when he can get paid a lot more to manage elsewhere, and still be everybodies diamond geezer ;) ;)

Venables like hoddle is too out of touch with the modern game, and like Arry knows its a no win situation for him.

Pardew, well he has the beebs approval and he is a twat so he will be number 1 choice for dyke and co

Woy should never have had the job. Shocking appointment and I've thought so from day 1.

Southgate will probably be next up and may be OK in the role and will surprise a few.

look i'm no rooney fan and he was shit tonight but impressive in the group games and qualifiers and was captain on merit( and was dropped v slovakia lest you forget). yet none of your 5 spurs mugs were involved in the euro qualifiers yet all somehow managed to make the starting eleven for this tournament on the back of a huge media bias towards your club. You mention el tel, but his record is a myth- we were pretty shit under him bar that holland game. Spurs fans just seem so desperate for acclaim and lack humility if you ask me.

To be fair our players had a great season. I think Rose, Dier and Walker all played ok in the tournament. Alli and Kane were poor. Either way none of the players from the England squad will get a pat on the back

We made a semi under El Tel and we could have won the while thing. It wouldn't matter where he hailed from or what team he played for. We were slow in Italia 90 too but could have won the whole thing

Listning to Hoddle, reminded me of proffessor Stanley Unwin
We need a manager with the plums to drop players like Rooney ,when its obvious hes not fit enough or good enough anymore .

With absolutely no bias or city intentions behind this.. I would genuinely pick Mancini

The entire point and method behind englands downfall is simple - mentality.
We are a country of hard fought losers (of course last night wasnt hard fought) and nearly men
Italy and Germany can have average sides but mentality is forced upon them through sheer experience of winning and expectance to step up when needed, whereas england continually fail.

Mancini is the single most obvious candidate who has changed a teams losing mentality to a winning one,

We were nearly men under the new owners until he arrived,
He changed he hope and will to win into genuine expectance - a circa 60 (70% in the short term of title wins etc) percent win rate under him came after he single handedly changed the entire mindset of the club
People will mention capello failed with england but the man was a f*****ng dinosaur, plus roberto has done it in england with us; he knows the league and its deficiencies and how it works..

He wont get it, he wont even be mentioned, but the cold hard facts are staring us in the face..
