Half the kids in our academy support the Rags. It should be the first question a scout asks. Their dream will always be to play for the scum so why bother developing them and helping them make it.? Their hearts and the hearts of their scum supporting family will ALWAYS want them to one day wear red.

Put it this way if my lad had been picked up by scum then I would make sure he wore a city shirt on underneath so that fucking dirty scummy red cloth did not infect his skin.

This! Even if he's finished here, I doubt the club will want to look like they're making knee-jerk decisions. He will probably be moved on ''for different reasons'' when the hype has died down.
