He would be a great, low cost, no-risk, instant settling in imporvement for us right now....

Think of the effect that Andy Morrison had on a struggling team, whereas we are light-years away from that now, we need a steadying influence and an out-n-out ball winner in that back line .... IMHO

Just because samba plays in a shite side and would only cost 5-6 million means he isnt good enough for the one and only city. How much did Kompany cost us?

IMO he would be better than Lescott and Kolo. He has better coordination and passing than Lescott and is better in the air than Kolo.

I would be surprised if we made a move for him but we could do a lot worse.

Would Blackburn sell Samba to QPR? Both teams are in a relegation battle. Would Blackburn effectively 'help out' another team down at the bottom? I think if a higher placed team came in with a similar offer they'd prefer to take that to be honest. If we could get him for no more than £10m it'd be worth a punt. If Kolo wants to leave then Samba would be a good buy to rotate with Lescott but not as a replacement for Kompany. Savic is still a young punk and very inexperienced in the PL. Get Dedryck back in too and the chance for him, Ned and Savic to learn from Kompany, Lescott and Samba would stand them well.

I've watched him for years in the PL, he isn't good enough for City because we have far better defenders already here

Could also argue others like Villa / newcastle could get him from Blackburn

Yet all these top managers are passing on him at 6 mill - WHY?
