Kolo is a better defender than Samba

This should be Mancini tomorrow meeting with Blackburn's chairman.

I don't see the urgency now. Kompany is back for the next league game, Kolo back soon enough. If we wait until summer we can get a superior defender to Samba. We've weathered most of the storm with our makeshift defence now, just the Dippers to go.

You're probably right. I just cannot stomach the thought of being 1 injury/suspension away from Savic until Kolo gets back. Hell even being within 2 of playing Savic makes me nervous.

Was told at the match yesterday by someone who is connected with the club, and who has got things right in the past, that we are in for a Blackburn player, didn't say which. Has to be Hoilettt — who somebody else has already started a thread on, having heard the same thing — or Samba, who was left out of their squad at the weekend.
Just passing it on but the fella got the Adam Johnson signing right several weeks beforehand, for example.

I would buy him tomorrow. He, or someone like him is needed. Savic isn't ready yet, although I believe he will be and perhaps would make a better PL full back rather than CB. Kolo, will be off in the summer, so we need someone in now.
