Sami Nasri

Forever?

Anyways this is the Nasri thread, we should stay on topic.

Mancini has a chosen 11, and the midfield places Nasri would take up are filled by Silva and Milner. Both of those players are 25 years old and only getting better, while Nasri is the type of player that is badly affected by sitting on the bench.

Either way it's not like it affects City at all. If Nasri isn't good enough you can just sign someone better.

Ya know, it's funny about Samir Nasri and the hate spewed out towards him by the Arsenal fans.

I mean, so many of them state unequivocally that he is 'crap' / a 'flash in the pan' etc etc.

He's a waste of money - he'll never live up to expectations.

He only had a 'few months' when he was 'decent' etc etc.

They say they are not in the slightest bit bothered that Arsenal sold him and they don't miss him whatsoever.

YET...

Every time the ball was anywhere near Nasri last night, practically every Arsenal 'fan' was booing him...

But I thought you weren't bothered?

Looked to me more like the Arsenal fans realise full well that they have lost a class player and are still very, very BITTER.

Have some patience, City fans. Samir will come good.

Just like Silva / Yaya / Dzeko / Aguero / Balotelli / Milner / Richards / Hart / Lescott etc etc etc.

The future is ours.

You can quote me in May.

:o)

I love Samir and really do rate him but he did totally and understandably bottle it today. I thought tonight was going to be the start of the real Samir, I was wrong though. Oh well. It will happen soon enough!

Wenger said it best, they booed him because they loved him. Its really that simple. Football fans are emotional and why some fans think they are different is beyond me. Happens every week in football that ex player gets booed.

Arsenal fans booed him for a good reason.

He was crap for 2 years but they stood by him. When he comes good, instead of repaying it he runs off first chance he gets.

He does this:
nasri-and-wilshere1-150x150.jpg
and a few months later forces a move

And also the fans made a song for him, sang his name every match... and the second he leaves he slags off the same fans that supported him and says they have no passion.

If he was a City player who went to Chelsea/Liverpool and did the same thing, 100% guaranteed you would all despise him and boo him like crazy.

Question is, why would anyone leave us for Chelsea or Liverpool. Samir had a year left and your club didn't offer him enough wages and until he was sold did your club show any interest in signing players to compete after selling your best player.

Arsenal fans are bitter. You booed Kolo and Nasri and if you could would boo Clichy.

It's like talking to a wall with some of you. Anyways I'll get back to you on Nasri when he's inevitably sold to Tottenham in a season or two.

You can tell he's been playing at arsenal for a while because he's no bottle or backbone. I'd dread to see many times he touched the ball in the second half, he completely shirked it and hid away. The boo'ing of the arsenal fans seemed to stop completely. It was like robinho all over again, but with less talent. Kolarovs substitution said it all, he couldn't wait to get off the pitch. He didn't want to prove anything or get back at the arsenal fans he only wanted to cower away. An embarrassment.

Hopefully he'll settle and pull his finger out but in the last two games he's really pissed me off. It's been like playing a man down with him in the team. Looks like he can't be arsed, doesn't give a fuck and hasn't got the stomach for it. Johnno played himself ahead of him last night so he might be in for a spell in the bench, not that he'll give a fuck as long as he gets his hefty pay cheque I suspect
